Description

Upswept Hare Bugs Bunny Production Cel (Warner Brothers, 1953). "Eh, just a lucky shot, doc. Now it's my turn." Bugs Bunny and Elmer Fudd have a contest to see who can shoot an apple off the other's head with a shotgun. Bugs tries to pull off a trick shot with a mirror only to miss entirely, and a perforated Elmer Fudd replies, "Ha! I pwoved I'm better than you are. You missed the apple." This is a wonderfully humorous hand-inked, hand-painted original production cel seen at the 5:34 mark of the Robert McKimson-directed Upswept Hare, in which Elmer Fudd attempts to remove Bugs Bunny from his penthouse property. This hilarious classic was released to theaters on 3/14/1953. Bugs Bunny measures 6" tall on the 12 field cel, and the piece shows minor handling and edge wear with mild wrinkling. The condition is Very Good.
