Description
Mother Goose Goes Hollywood Katherine Hepburn Courvoisier Production Cel Setup (Walt Disney, 1938). "I can't find my sheep!" An original hand-inked and hand-painted production cel of Katherine Hepburn, searching land and sea as Little Bo Peep. This is a Courvoisier setup, with a trimmed cel placed on a custom hand-painted background. Great 5" image of Katherine with her staff. The water is all hand-painted on the cel. Very nicely matted and framed with Plexiglas, for an overall size of 14.25" x 13.5". The original Courvoisier mat and sticker have been preserved on the backside of the frame. The short was directed by Wilfred Jackson and released on 12/29/38; it was nominated for an Academy Award. Fine condition.Auction Info
