Description

Bill Sienkiewicz Moon Knight #12 Story Page 7 Original Art (Marvel, 1981). Fan-favorite Bill Sienkiewicz evokes madness out of every panel of this page from "The Nightmare of Morpheus", adhering to the more traditional comic art style, only hinting at the more Avant-Garde approach that would go on to define his career. The living vampire, Morpheus (Robert Markham) made his first appearance in this issue, and is present in the bottom left panel. Both Moon Knight and Morpheus have both joined the ranks of Marvel live-action characters. Ink and Zipatone over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". The page is lightly toned, all text are discolored hand-lettered paste-ups, and the top right corner is trimmed, missing stat in lower left area, adhesive residue staining, and whiteout corrections. In Very Good condition.
