Description

Robin Hood Prince John Production Cel on Master Production Background (Walt Disney, 1973). Prince John clings to his runaway carriage in this original setup from Disney's adaptation of Robin Hood. This is an original hand-painted production cel setup of the villain in this film getting his comeuppance. The image fills the 16 field multi-cel setup that is over a hand-painted Master production background used in the film. This scene was ultimately cut from the final production, making this a very rare image. The cels have been laminated and bear a Disney seal in the lower right corner. The piece is framed under glass with a mat opening of 11.5" x 14" in a 17.5" x 22" frame and a studio Certificate of Authenticity is on the back. Condition is Fine. Frame is sold as-is.
