Joe Madureira Marvel Comics Presents #92 Unused Cover Original Art (Marvel, 1991). An early, unused cover by Joe Madureira! After securing his first work for Marvel, a Northstar story he drew for MCP in 1991 at the age of 16, the talented artist would rise to super-stardom within a few years, becoming the regular penciler on Uncanny X-Men and eventually creating his own title, Battle Chasers, released through Image. This offering from Madureira is an unused cover likely created for the back cover image (MCP utilized two covers) featuring Ghost Rider, Beast, and Northstar. Ink and Zipatone over graphite and blue pencil on Marvel cover stock Bristol board with an image area of 9.75" x 15". Light smudging and handling wear and signed by Madureira at the bottom.
