Description

Disneyland Lilly Belle Miniature Train Mechanical Steam Break Drawings Group of 5 (Walt Disney, c. 1950s). Walt Disney's love of trains is legendary. He had a working 1/8 scale live steam locomotive built on the grounds of Disneyland. Here is a set of five original drawings of a hand-crafted part, drawn in graphite on paper by master machinist Roger E. Broggie. Three of the drawings are on 8.5" x 11" bond paper; two are on onionskin, measuring 11" x 7.25" and 11.5" x 8". Included is a vintage black and white photo of the finished part, the original mailing envelope (dated 1957), and a print-out with information about the train and Me. Broggie. Drawings show heavy wear and soiling; Fair to Good condition.
