Description
Mickey's Polo Team Production Drawing Group (Walt Disney, 1936). After the success of using caricatures of real Hollywood celebrities in Mickey's Gala Premier, they did this again in this short. This is a series of four 12-field 5-peghole action drawings of Mickey Mouse, Goofy, the Big Bad Wolf, and Charlie Chaplin all on horseback mid-game. All are in graphite with red and blue pencil highlights, stamped "Art Props" in green ink. Mickey and his horse are 4" x 6", marked 206A; Goofy and his horse take up the entire area at 9" x 12", marked 226B; Wolf is 6" x 5" marked 232B; and Chaplin with hat and cane is 4" and has 219B in the right corner.
