Teaching with Calvin and Hobbes #nn (Playground Publishing, 1993) Condition: FN/VF. This extraordinary offering, Teaching With Calvin and Hobbes, has obtained legendary status among fans as the sole instance of Bill Watterson licensing his characters for a project. Co-created by a speech-language pathologist, it combines 57 comic strips into educational lessons, such as "The Bug Collector" and "The Christmas Story." The fact that there are less than 10 known copies available in libraries around the world (including one in the Library of Congress), coupled with Watterson's reluctance to merchandise his work outside of collected editions, makes this official piece a grail for fans of the mischievous six-year-old and his sardonic tiger sidekick.
