Description
Greg Irons Slow Death #7 Viking Marauders Pin-Up Original Art (Last Gasp, 1976). Viking raiders surge forward, clad in scale and fury, blades drawn beneath a sky of smoke. Greg Irons renders each figure with ferocious precision, textures bristling with menace and detail. The tangled chaos and expressive linework echo his earlier psychedelic stylings, honed during his work as an animator on Yellow Submarine, now sharpened into historical brutality. Created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 14" x 20.75". Signed and dated by Irons in the lower right of the image area. The board is toned with minor spot stains and white paint touch-ups. Pinhole in the top margin and light handling wear. In Very Good condition.More information about Greg Irons.
