Description
J. H. Williams III Batwoman #3 Cover Original Art (DC, 2012). Katherine Kane is surrounded -- awash in the pain of her past and the waves of the Gotham River. Death sneers from beyond the pale, while Kate's late sister Elizabeth intones, "We are dead", again and again. Between the gun Special Agent Chase holds to her head and the ghosts closing in, Batwoman has much to overcome before she can return to saving Gotham. Ink, wash, white paint, and marker over blue pencil on Bristol board with an image area of 10.5" x 15.75". Small abrasion at the bottom right, outside the image area.
