Hugh Fleming Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi - The Sith War #1 Cover Original Art (Dark Horse, 1995). "A warrior knows nothing of surrender." The Sith have recruited the Mandalorians and the conflicted Jedi Knight, Ulic Qel-Droma, readies himself for the oncoming attack on Coruscant! This cover was used for the story "Edge of the Whirlwind", which takes place in Star Wars Legends continuity in 3996 BBY. This issue also marks the first appearance of Mandalore the Indomitable, the ferocious warlord that would unite forces with the Sith against the Jedi. Unused concept sketches for the second season of the hit television series, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, reveal that Ulic Qel-Droma was set to appear in canonical continuity, in the form of stained glass art within Jedi Temple. Cover was created in mixed media on 15" x 22.5" illustration board. Some edge/handling wear. Signed by Fleming in lower left area.
