Description

Adam Hughes A Stranger's Tale #3 Cover Original Art (Vineyard Press, 2000). Cover to one of the rarest/hardest-to-find Adam Hughes-fronted comics ever published! The anthology, A Stranger's Tale, was thought to have ended with Issue #2... until a few copies of Issue #3 began to appear, supposedly released a few years later with this Adam Hughes cover. Planned for an eight-issue run, Issues #4-8 went unpublished. There are only a handful of known copies, with collectors speculating the issue had a very low print run. Featuring five characters -- Santos (woman featured), Avatar, Guns, Spork, and Magnificent One -- Hughes provides a fun, vintage-looking cover rendered in ink over graphite on Blanc Noir Bristol board with an image area of 10.25" x 15.5". Light edge/handling wear and signed by Hughes in the lower right image area. In Excellent condition.
