Description

Gary Frank - "Smoking" Illustration Original Art (c. 2010s). "It started like this... I'd arrived at my office to find a woman, beautiful as sin and bright like the North Star on Christmas Eve. She stared at me with that severe flavor of confidence and grit that I'd long seen in the mirror. Smoke trailed from her mouth and her cigarette as she told me the details. Turns out her husband went and got himself offed. Death. I jotted down the details and got ready for a grisly new case." Frank brings characteristic intrigue and invitation to this illustration, rendering with perfect balance a scene that is full to brimming with ripe detail. Rendered in ink, marker, and white paint over graphite with an image area of 7" x 10". Signed in the bottom right of the image area by Frank and titled on the reverse, with light handling and corner wear. In Excellent condition.
