The Flash races right off the page in this simple but effective portrait, rendered in the unmistakable style of the DC Animated Universe. Known for his clean lines, bold shapes, and vintage flair, Darwyn Cooke -- who got his break storyboarding Batman: The Animated Series for Bruce Timm -- was the perfect choice to help define the DCAU's style guide once the universe expanded beyond Batman and Superman to include DC's full roster of legendary characters. This energetic image of the World's Fastest Man has been used countless times in both advertising and merchandising, making it one of the most iconic representations of the Flash from this era. Rendered in graphite and blue pencil on Bristol board with an image area of 5.25" x 9.25". Soft corners.
