Sal Buscema, Mike Esposito, and John Tartaglione Captain America #227 Story Page 16 Original Art (Marvel, 1978). Captain America is frozen by past trauma, leaving Nick Fury to scream in agony as he fries from the rising sun's magnified energy. The Red Skull's premature gloating inspires old Winghead to introduce the villain to his fist on this page from over "The Deadly Gauntlet". Ink and yellowed Zipatone over blue pencil and graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". The page is lightly toned with the top corners trimmed and adhesive residue on the top edge.
