Jon Bogdanove and Dennis Janke Superman: The Man of Steel #22 Story Page 8 Original Art (DC, 1993). An origin flashback as John Henry Irons recalls the time Superman saved his life. A powerful story that shows why the engineer creates a mechanized suit of armor and becomes Steel after Superman is killed by Doomsday. Ink and dot halftone over graphite on DC Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15.75". Discolored tape mark and residue staining from a missing mark in the top and bottom margins, with light handling wear. Includes a separate vellum overlay with an effect created in marker and Zipatone for Panel 1. Overall in Excellent condition.Jon Bogdanove: The Art of Steel.
