Description

Joe Kubert - Original Cover Art for From Beyond the Unknown #7 (DC, 197O). This astounding cover from 1970 was penciled and inked by the inimitable Joe Kubert, who produces an image not easily forgotten. Kubert's loose, yet perfectly-placed, lines bring this scenario to life, with an incredible sense of design. His uncanny ability to push the envelope makes this cover a gigantic success. The overall page size is 11.5" x 16.5" with an image area of 10" x 15". Although there is some slight aging apparent, the art is well-kept, with some minimal white-out usage, which doesn't detract. A winning picture, by a great talent.
