Description

Al Capp - Self-Portrait Illustration Original Art (c. 1950-60s). The creator of Li'l Abner poses with the titular character balanced in his hand. The Abner figure is a stat paste-up. The Al Capp portion was created by Capp in ink over graphite on Bristol board. Matted with an image area of 7.25" x 7.25". Matted to 13.25" x 13.25". Signed in the lower right and lightly toned, with some glue reside near the paste-up. The paste-up portion is starting to come loose. In Very Good condition.
