Description

Timothy Truman Grimjack #9 Cover Original Art (First, 1985). Possibly one of the greatest Grimjack covers that Tim Truman has ever drawn, this image of John Gaunt, with a skull in the background, features both his demon pin and purple beret. He looks stark and dangerous as he should. This is not a man to trifle with. For the story "My Sins Remembered", this cover was crafted in ink over blue pencil on Bristol board with an image area of 9.75" x 15". The rain effect on the cover was created in the time-honored cartoonist style of scratching the board surface to create white lines through the black. Logo and title text are stat paste-ups. Tim Truman signed in the top margin. With only light toning, this is in Excellent condition.
