Description
Richard F. Outcault Buster Brown Sunday Comic Strip Original Art dated 4-16-16 (American-Journal Examiner, 1916). "Smithy really is persistent. He just keeps on trying." Smithy's back, and no one is having any of his nonsense! The Browns are putting the "Nay!" in Neighborly. Created on two sections of Bristol board in ink over graphite. They are partially watercolored as a color guide reference to the printer. The sections have a combined image area of 18.75" x 24.25". Signed in the last panel.
