Henry C. Kiefer Classics Illustrated #68 Julius Caesar Splash Page Original Art (Gilberton, 1950). An impressive splash page for the adaptation of William Shakespeare's classic (and often "required reading") piece of English Lit. Created in ink over graphite on 12.5" x 15.25" Bristol board. This board was then set on a larger illustration board where the art was continued onto the illustration board with a combined image area of 14.5" x 18.25". The top banner text is all stat paste-up. Some are missing, leaving glue residue. There is a blank spot lower on the page for another paste-up. There is glue residue along the sides, and some stains in the image area. In Good condition.
