Description

Marc Silvestri and Dan Green The Uncanny X-Men #226 "Fall of the Mutants" Story Page 16 Original Art (Marvel, 1988). From the second chapter of the highly consequential "Fall of the Mutants" X-Men crossover, things get intense in Heritage Auctions' hometown of Dallas, TX, as a horde of savage barbarians swarms the Dallas North Tollway at I-35! With only a handful of armed police officers, Brotherhood of Evil Mutants member Super Sabre, and the timely arrival of Wolverine standing between them and the densely populated downtown area, the stakes couldn't be higher. Rendered in X-ceptional detail by the fan-favorite duo Marc Silvestri and Dan Green in ink over graphite on Bristol board with a 10" x 15" image area. The board is quite toned, and some of the inks have faded. Whiteout, clipped top edge, pinholes, marginal notes, and soiling and handling wear. Signed by Silvestri and in Good condition.
