Description

Larry Lieber and Herb Trimpe The Rawhide Kid #80 Cover Original Art (Marvel, 1970). Has the Rawhide Kid shot an unarmed man? The accusation lends tension to this dynamic composition by editor Stan Lee's brother, Larry Lieber, approximating the style of Marvel stalwart Jack Kirby, with inking credited to Herb Trimpe. Created in ink over blue graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 11.5" x 17.25". Board is lightly toned, with handling and wear in the margins. The logo is stained, extending into Rawhide's face, and there is glue residue at the top left corner, with some tape residue. In Very Good condition.
