Bane original artwork by his creator Graham Nolan is rare, and this is an epic image of the popular and deadly villain on this opening title splash page of the miniseries. The masked monstrosity emanates power as he braves the elements, while returning home to Santa Prisca, to learn more about his origin. Detailed rendering by acclaimed Batman artist, Graham Nolan, inked by Tom Palmer over graphite on DC Bristol board with an image area of 10.25" x 15.75". There is a credits text correction, stat indicia paste-ups, discolored tape production marks in the top and bottom margins, staples holes in the top left, editorial notes (including notes from colorist Bill Oakley and inker Tom Palmer at the top), whiteout, and scratch effects, with light handling wear. In Excellent condition.
