Description

Jack Kirby and Paul Reinman The X-Men #2 Story Page 21 Original Art (Marvel, 1963). A bold and energetic early X-Men page drawn by the one and only King of Comics! Beast slams into the Vanisher's crew with full force. Cyclops drops the floor out from under them, and Iceman seals the trap. All under the calm direction of Professor X. From "No One Can Stop the Vanisher," marking the first appearance of the teleporting menace. Crafted twice-up scale in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 12.5" x 18.5". Slight toning, marginal notes, foxing, pinholes in the top margin, production tape on the lower margin, light handling wear, handling/edge wear, and whiteout art corrections in Panels 1 and 5. In Very Good condition.
