Description
Shield-Wizard Comics #9 (MLJ, 1942) CGC VF+ 8.5 Cream to off-white pages. A gorgeous copy tied with one other for the top spot on CGC's census for the issue, and one of three that have received a grade higher than VG/FN 5.0. The World War II, Rising Sun, bondage cover is by Irv Novick, who also provided story art along with Paul Reinman. Overstreet 2021 VF 8.0 value = $1,158; VF/NM 9.0 value = $1,979.
