Four Color #9 Donald Duck (Dell, 1942) CGC NM 9.4 Off-white pages. An important issue in Disney's comic book history, this was Carl Barks' first time drawing the Disney ducks. Donald Duck, appears in the story "Donald Duck Finds Pirate Gold", with Huey, Dewey, and Louie eager to lend a helping hand to Unca' Donald, as usual. Jack Hannah lent a helping hand with the interior art. This is one of CGC's top three copies of the issue and certainly deserves your consideration. Overstreet 2020 NM- 9.2 value = $20,000. CGC census 6/21: 1 in 9.4, 2 higher.
