Description

Skip Williamson Douglas Comix Complete 2-Page Story Original Art (Douglas Communications, 1972). Douglas Comix was an unusual hybrid of Underground Comix and book/record catalog, with contributions from some of the top UG artists. This rare comic/catalog was divided into two parts; books in the first half and records in the second. This two-pager by the late Skip Williamson (1944-2017) promoted the book Shots: Photographs From the Underground Press, by Ericka Huggins and Bobby Seale. Art is in ink over graphite with whiteout on illustration board, with an approximate per-page image area of 12" x 16.5". Black areas are pasted-on, for photos to be dropped in for the printed page. Very Good condition, with minor handling wear. From the Eric Sack Collection.
