Description
Thorn Tales From the Lantern #nn (No publisher listed, 1983) Condition: NM+. This book collects Jeff Smith's early cartoons from the Ohio State University newspaper, The Lantern, that led directly to Smith creating his multi-award-winning comic book series, Bone. Several of the titular characters make their debut here -- years before their appearances in the acclaimed indie comic. Smith also provided the art for the cover. Only 1,000 copies are believed to have been printed. Please note that while CGC certified copies of this at one time, they currently do not, so we are offering this one raw -- if you take a close look at our image you will see why we graded it as high as we did.
