Description

Bill Sienkiewicz Elektra: Assassin #7 Story Page 12 Original Art (Marvel, 1987). Sienkiewicz's ground breaking mixed-media and avant-garde approach to art was perfect for Frank Miller's hard boiled writing in this series. A version of this character has appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the TV series Daredevil and The Defenders. And as a bonus bit of history, writer Frank Miller's Elektra: Assassin story was not considered appropriate for the Comics Code Authority seal, so the series was not sold on newsstands, but only through specialty stores. Mixed media on illustration board with an image area of 10" x 15". Marginal tape residue, adhesive staining along the top edge, with corner and handling wear. The art is in Excellent condition.
