Big Little Book #1467 Tarzan in the Land of the Giant Apes Cover Original Art (Whitman, 1949). During the early 30s to early 40s, when comics were in there infancy, children of the era were enamored with Big Little Books. Literally millions of them were sold. Although hundreds of titles were produced, the original art for these treasures is extremely scarce. This exceptional Tarzan cover illustration is as brilliant as the day it was painted.
