Description
Charles Schulz Peanuts Daily Comic Strip Original Art dated 3-2-1956 (United Feature Syndicate, 1956). The beloved series was only six years old at this point, and already it had developed a running gag of Snoopy pretending to be other animals... a lion, a cheetah, a vulture, and here an alligator! Also by this point, the characters appearance had jelled into the what would become their standard look for the next 44 years. Created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 27.25" x 5". The toned board has some slight warping. It has been folded down the center between the middle panels to allow mailing to the syndicate. In Good condition.More information about Charles Schulz.
