Jack Davis TV Guide Cover Painting "Welcome Back, Kotter" Original Art dated 10-22-77 (Triangle Publications, 1977). The fantastic caricature talents of Jack Davis were a perfect fit for the cast of ABC's smash-hit Welcome Back, Kotter. Pictured here are Gabe Kaplan's Kotter, surrounded by the Sweathogs played by John Travolta, Ron Palillo, Lawrence Hilton-Jacobs, and Robert Hegyes. The piece was crafted in ink and watercolor on 15" x 18.5" illustration board and signed in the image area. There is slight discoloration in the margin from a previous framing.
