Description

Jim Aparo The Brave and the Bold #199 The Spectre Cover Original Art (DC, 1983). What a team-up! Two of the characters closely associated with Jim Aparo... Batman and The Spectre! This is certainly a treat, as Bronze Age Aparo Spectre covers almost never come to market. Created in ink over graphite on DC/Sparta Bristol board with an image area of 9.75" x 15". The DC bullet, price/issue box, and all logos are paste-up stats. The "versus" and "And the Winner is..." paste-ups appear to be modern-day replacements, as they are much whiter than the vintage 1983 stats. Signed "JA" in the art and signed by Aparo in the UPC box. There is a bit of production tape by the CCA stamp paste-up. In Excellent condition.
