Description

Don Rosa Uncle Scrooge #286 Cover Original Art (Gladstone, 1994). The story "The Master of Mississippi" is the second of the original 12 chapters in the series The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck. This exciting cover, featuring a young Scrooge McDuck and his Uncle Angus McDuck being pursued down the Mississippi by the Beagle Boys, is adapted from Michel Nadorp's earlier Netherlands edition cover published in 1993. Eagle-eyed collectors will notice the hidden dedication pattern in Uncle Pothole's pipe, which reads "D.U.C.K." -- a hidden Easter egg for any hardcore fan. Created in ink over graphite on bright white 11" x 16" Bristol board. There is a very minor amount of glue staining in the lower right area. Signed by Rosa in the lower right corner. In Excellent condition.
