George Pérez Avengers #8 Triathalon First Appearance Cover Original Art (Marvel, 1998). Triathlon makes his first appearance by barging straight into the team's spotlight. He presses forward as the Avengers scatter, a clear visual cue that this debut carries weight. The scene reflects Marvel's strategy in the Busiek and Pérez relaunch to introduce him as a central presence. This is a breakout moment, positioning him as a future core Avenger and the hero destined to become the new 3-D Man. The piece features Captain America, Wonder Man, Iron Man, Thor, Hawkeye, Firestar, and Justice in the background. Includes a second page of additional art that was used to change Scarlet Witch's boots. Created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15".
