Wonder Woman #1 (DC, 1942) CGC GD/VG 3.0 Cream to off-white pages. Wonder Woman's origin is retold in this first issue of her own solo title, and her nemesis, the evil Ares (played in the first Gal Gadot Wonder Woman feature film by the great David Thewlis), makes his first comic appearance. H. G. Peter drew the charged World War II cover and art for the book. Currently this issue is tied for the #19 spot on Overstreet's list of Top 100 Golden Age Comics. Recent Wonder Woman DCU film appearances have driven demand for all things WW to previously unseen heights, and that goes double for her first eponymously titled issue!
