Description
George Herriman Krazy Kat Daily Comic Strip Original Art (Hearst, c. 1918). Ignatz takes it on the run after seeing a strange creature -- turns out it's only Krazy wearing a doll's head on her tail! Classic silliness from one of the most beloved newspaper strips of all time; perhaps not the most popular comic with the masses but one read by many important writers and thinkers. We think this strip's a blast, a great example of one of the early dailies by Herriman. The art is in ink and graphite on Bristol board, with an approximate image area of 20" x 6", and matted to 25" x 11".
