Mike Sekowsky and Joe Giella Justice League of America #47 Cover Original Art (DC, 1966). Batman gives a *BIFF-BAM-POW!* to the Anti-Matter Man on this Go-Go Checks cover. It is for the fourth annual JLA/JSA team-up, and the characters featured include the Atom, Batman, the Flash, Green Lantern, Hawkman, Black Canary, Doctor Fate, Doctor Mid-Nite, Sandman, the Spectre, and Wildcat. Created twice-up scale in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 12.5" x 18.5". The lower banner is a hand-lettered paste-up. The logo, price, and month/issue are all low-res replacements affixed directly to the art board. Toned, with some whiteout art clean-ups, and there are glue residue stains on the board in several places. Signed by inker Giella in the lower margin. In Good condition. Comes with a vintage stat of the logo, and a reader copy of the book.
