Dave Gibbons Watchmen #12 Splash Page 5 Original Art and Color Guide Group (DC, 1987). "This is the end my friend, the end." Here is the apocalyptic opener (unseen in the movie) of the final chapter of the incredible saga known as Watchmen. Writer Alan Moore transcended the comic book format with his tightly plotted and interwoven cross-pop cultural magnum opus. This splash, stunningly detailed by Dave Gibbons, has an image area 10" x 15.75", and is in Excellent condition. The page was signed by Gibbons at the lower left.
