Description
Neal Adams and Dick Giordano Hot Wheels #6 "The Humbug Run" Page 12 Original Art (DC, 1971). Bad Santa? This one is positively evil! And get a load of those gun-toting "elves!" When discussing Neal Adams' comic art at DC, here's one title that rarely gets mentioned, and it's a shame -- as you can see, he delivered the goods with this dynamic page from the short-lived series' final issue, filling in for regular artist Alex Toth. The page is loaded with great expressions and "camera angles," all done in Neal's unique style. Complimenting the pencils, the page features one of Neal's best-ever inkers, the late Dick Giordano (1932-2010), who signed the page within the third panel. The art is in ink over graphite with blue pencil on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15".
