Batman #83 (DC, 1954) CGC NM 9.4 Off-white to white pages. Not only the highest-graded copy certified by CGC to date, but also the only one certified with a grade above VF 8.0. Most copies of this book this book seem to be in mid-grade, usually with edge wear at the top and to the black corner at lower right. The cover is by Dick Sprang and Charles Paris; story art is by Sprang and Sheldon Moldoff. Overstreet 2020 NM- 9.2 value = $1,475. CGC census 11/20: 1 in 9.4, none higher.
