Norman Saunders Space Cards #61 "Farming on the Moon" Trading Card Illustration Original Art (Topps, 1957). Long before The Martian showed audiences the importance of growing food in space, Norman Saunders captured the idea in vivid detail. This lushly painted 1957 scene of a lunar greenhouse brimming with color and life was issued as Trading Card #61 in Topps' classic space set, blending mid-century optimism with pop-art imagination. Acrylic on Bristol board with an edge-to-edge image area of 4.75" x 3.5". Small section of paint missing in lower right corner, minor corner wear, and adhesive residue from detached stat text paste-up, which is included. In Very Good condition.From the Howard Lowery Collection.
