Description
Lady and the Tramp Lady and Tramp Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1955). "Whoa!" Tramp heroically saves the poor muzzled Lady from the jaws of death in this action-packed animation. Crafted over 70 years ago during the production of Walt Disney's acclaimed Disney dog romance, this image can be seen near the 40:03 timestamp as Tramp yanks Lady back to avoid a lethal chomp from Al the Alligator. The wild footloose Tramp was animated by a few of Disney's "Nine Old Men", with supervision from Woolie Reitherman, including Frank Thomas, and Milt Kahl. With the animation of Lady done by Frank Thomas, Milt Kahl and Ollie Johnston. Rendered with tight lines this graphite and colored pencil drawing of the two protagonists measure approximately 4.25" x 3.5" nicely centered on a 16 field 3-peghole animation page. Noted as frame 4 of its sequence in the bottom right corner. The drawing has light age-related toning, minor edge and handling wear, and a middle peg hole support from production.
