The Black Knight #1 (Atlas, 1955) CGC FN/VF 7.0 Off-white pages. One of the best Atlas covers of the 1950s, and what a very tough book to find in high grade! This is the origin and first appearance of the original Black Knight, with cover and art by the masterful Joe Maneely, and a very cool logo that only graced this first issue before being simplified for the rest of the title's run. This is also one of CGC's top copies of the issue, with only two of those copies having higher grades than this wonderful example. It's worthy of note that Heritage auctioned the current highest-graded copy (a VF+ 8.5) in November 2021 for $43,200! Overstreet 2022 FN 6.0 value = $1,785; VF 8.0 value = $4,350.
