Todd McFarlane Spider-Man #12 Wolverine Story Page 7 Original Art (Marvel, 1991)....
Description
Todd McFarlane Spider-Man #12 Wolverine Story Page 7 Original Art (Marvel, 1991). Spider-Man discovers Wolverine is a "moody little cuss"... by almost losing a nose! McFarlane provides the definitive claw gag in a dynamic sequence of panels that highlights his graphic and storytelling prowess. In an action split into three panels, Wolverine pops two of his claws with the trademark "Snikt" sound effect and leaves his middle claw to poke the tip of Spidey's nose. McFarlane even conveys the tension Peter feels, with pursed lips showing through his mask! And not to mention the powerful chokeslam in the first panel... the Clawed Canadian shows he means business! A great page from the final chapter of the "Perceptions" storyline which brought together two of Marvel's favorite heroes with story and art by one of Marvel's hottest artists at the time! Ink over blue pencil on Marvel Bristol board with an image area of 10.25" x 15.75". Marginal pinholes, whiteout touch-ups, and light handling wear. Signed by McFarlane in the bottom image area. In Excellent condition.More information about Todd McFarlane. See also: McFarlane, Todd Artist. Lookup the Comic Book in our Guide
