All Star Comics #3 (DC, 1940) CGC GD/VG 3.0 Off-white pages. A classic Golden Age cover and one of the most significant issues of the early 1940s, issue #3 currently ranks #27 on Overstreet's Top 100 Golden Age Books. The Justice Society of America made its debut in this origin, first appearance issue, which also happens to be the first time that the Atom appears on a cover. E. E. Hibbard did the cover and contributed interior art, as did Sheldon Moldoff, Bernard Baily, Martin Nodell, and Creig Flessel. CGC notes, "Cover re-attached with thread. Moderate amount of tape on cover & interior cover." Overstreet 2019 GD 2.0 value = $6,150; VG 4.0 value = $12,300. CGC census 7/20: 6 in 3.0, 33 higher.
