Description

Carl Barks Rude Awakening Painting Original Art (1974). Donald's early morning camp slumber is soon to interrupted by Junior Woodchucks Huey, Dewey, and Louie, in this richly colored oil painting on Masonite. Known by Barks collectors as CG OIL 82, the painting is marked on the back with Barks' code 74-14. It measures 16" x 20", and is framed (without glass) to an overall size of approximately 25" x 29.25". The painting was featured in the book The Fine Art of Walt Disney's Donald Duck by Carl Barks, as well as a German 1996 calendar. The painting is in Excellent condition, ready to brighten the day of its next lucky owner. From the Kerby Confer Collection.
