Superman #2 (DC, 1939) CGC GD/VG 3.0 Cream to off-white pages. Even modest grades of the early issues of this title draw plenty of attention, and very few have been certified with high grades. The cover and art by Joe Shuster and Paul Cassidy, with a story by Jerry Siegel. Contains a full-page ad for the 1939 New York's World Fair edition. CGC notes, "Spine completely split and re-attached with tape on interior cover. Piece out of 22nd page, slightly affects story." Overstreet 2011 GD 2.0 value = $2,133; VG 4.0 value = $4,266.
