Description

Archie Comics #1 (Archie, 1942) CGC FR 1.0 Off-white to white pages. Recent Heritage results have shown how strong the demand for this book is! Mrs. Andrews makes her first appearance in her son's eponymous title (one still going strong 70 years later). Overstreet lists this issue as "scarce". The cover and art are by Bob Montana. CGC notes, "Tape on interior cover and interior." Overstreet 2011 GD 2.0 value = $4,200. CGC census 2/12: 1 in 1.0, 20 higher.
